This blog is simply the story about my little life
with my sweet family that the Lord has blessed me with
and the day in, day out things that we do.
It basically is my online diary/photo album of our life.
I'm glad you're here!

A patriotic 4th!

I love how big our little town does up the 4th of July! Our town's population is about 5,000 people and we have an estimated 15,000 people come to our parade and town celebration!
It has grown to be so crazy that all the local people put their lawn chairs out early to reserve good seats! People started putting chairs out on the July 2nd, so we did too!
Mackenzie and Brittany came over the night before and spent the night with us. Brittany made scones for our big 4th of July breakfast. Last year was the first year that I had a 4th of July breakfast and it turned out so fun that we decided to do it again this year, but we invited more people. We will be having about 20 people here in the morning!
She made them star-shapped!
How fun!
They turned out so cute!!!
The next morning we got up early and started preparing everything. Eric started cooking all the bacon.
Brittany and I set up the tables.
They turned out so cute! This one has different patterns of red transferware dishes with a blue and white checked tablecloth.
This one has Blue Willow dishes pared with a red and white checked tablecloth. They both turned out so festive and fun!
Cameron and Megan were the first to arrive.
Cameron had big news to share.......'s his tatoo! Click here to read more about it.
The girls, Brittany and Megan! I'm so glad to have Megan back in our lives again!
Me and Cameron.
Me and my hubby. This was the only picture we took and it looks like Eric's about ready to close his eyes.
Haha! Mackenzie came up to the drive up window requesting a refill. How funny!
Mackenzie and his buddies, from left to right Zack, Colin, Eric and Mackenzie. Check out their fun patriotic mugs!
Cameron and Megan.
We had a full house!
Even Blondie had her friend, Chester, over to play! haha!
Stephanie pushing the kids on the swings.
Uh-oh! Chester snuck in and left evidence! Oh well, no big deal, it all cleaned up.
We asked each family to bring a side dish and Eric and I provided bacon and eggs. We had such a wonderful breakfast!
I was so happy that my sweet Daddy was able to join us!
What a wonderful group of people we had!
Hayden visiting with his grandpa.
Look at this delicious meal! We also had yummy mimosas.
Silas and Kaden at the kiddy table! So sweet!!!
Well, we just heard the jets fly over meaning it's time to start the annual 4th of July parade! We're all headed down to main street to watch!
