This blog is simply the story about my little life
with my sweet family that the Lord has blessed me with
and the day in, day out things that we do.
It basically is my online diary/photo album of our life.
I'm glad you're here!

It's tomorrow night!!!!

We have been having fun watching Hayden and the other Mr. Bulldog contestants do funny things to raise money for the Children's Miracle Network. They are raising money to help the neonatal unit at our local hospital. Click here to read more about Mr. Bulldog. They have been working together raising money for a couple of months now. I'm so proud of all of them for working so hard. On this night we were watching them challenge two other schools who are involved in the same pageant for a fun game of He-Man volleyball!
The boys were all dressed up so funny! They went to the local thrift stores to get their costumes.
Hayden's outfit was hilarious. He's actually wearing an old red jumpsuit from the 1980s! He paired it with some lovely bright blue shorts and wore a bright orange tee-shirt underneath! Yikes!
 Hayden's serving the ball.
Our boys are all jocks, so they actually did quite well at volleyball. They beat the Billies 25 to 4.
But then they lost to the Lions 25-17.
It was hilarious! They earned money by ticket sales and...
....they all ran around with their money jars....
....doing a "mad dash for cash".....
.....this is where they are asking people in the audience to put money in their jars.
 Woot woo! The Bulldogs win!
The next day I went to the high school to watch their final rehearsal.
The theme to their big show is the movie Grease.
Grease is the word!
It's got grove it's got meaning!
 Hopelessly devoted to you!
 Go grease lightening!
They did such a great job! I can't wait to see the whole thing put together tomorrow night!
The boys taking a pizza break.
Here's all of their money jars.
My friend Sarah and her hubby, Gerardo, are here too because.....
....Hayden will be carrying their little 4 week old daughter, Savannah Grace, in the show!
They have a segment where the boys are supposed to walk out on the stage with a "little buddy" and Hayden picked Savannah.
He was very nervous holding her, but he did a great job and he looked so cute holding her!
Then the moms went on the stage to practice for the part when the boys escort us out on the stage wearing a tuxedo and they read tributes to us. I love this part of the show, it's really moving. We had a fun time practicing!
Then last night we had so much fun watching the Mr. Bulldog contestants play the high school teachers in basketball!
Instead of having a ball tip off to start the game they had arm wrestling, it was so funny! We were excited because the young guys beat the old guys, so they started with the ball.
The Mr. Bulldog contestants dressed funny again. Hayden wore old football pants.
At first the staff was ahead.
 Hayden makes a 3!
Then he made a nice lay-in!
The Mr. Bulldog's beat the Staff! Yea! It was all in good fun and they raised more money.

Now we have the big night tomorrow night. Keep your fingers crossed for Hayden! Actually, it's fine if he doesn't win, they are all winners and it's just all in fun to raise money for the babies. I'll let you know how it went on Monday!

"Even children make themselves known by their acts, by whether what they do is pure and right." Proverbs 20:11
