It's this new book that my cousin Lori put together all about the Walton family's life growing up in the 1920s in Wendling, a little logging mill town in Oregon that no longer exists. It's a beautiful book full of pictures and stories from their childhood. She asked all of us to send in photos and write our memories of our grandparents, Harry and Ethel. She did such a beautiful job. It is so amazing to read all the different stories.
Here's the whole gang! We had such a wonderful evening together. Family is so special. We share so much common history and wonderful memories together. I am truly grateful for my wonderful family!
"These are the commands, decrees and laws the LORD your God directed me to teach you to observe in the land that you are crossing the Jordan to possess, so that you, your children and their children after them may fear the LORD your God as long as you live by keeping all his decrees and commands that I give you, and so that you may enjoy long life. Hear, O Israel, and be careful to obey so that it may go well with you and that you may increase greatly in a land flowing with milk and honey, just as the LORD, the God of your fathers, promised you."
