Welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy reading about my busy life with my husband of 30 years and our four sons and daughter-in-law. We are now empty nesters and my blog is helping me through the journey. I love the Lord and I love my family. I also love to decorate and go to thrift stores!
....waiting at the Albertson's parking lot to meet up with Mackenzie, Brittany and her father, Mo. Mo is visiting from California and we planned a fun day with him and our family on the McKenzie River!
Grayson and Blondie excited to start the day!
We took two drift boats up to the beautiful scenic river. Here's Mackenzie on the oars of their boat with Brittany with her Dad.
And here's Eric and I with Grayson and Hayden in our boat, although, Hayden is hidden behind Eric.
This river is soooo pretty!
I thought this shallow water with river grass growing in it was so pretty! (Apparently so did Blondie!)
Eric doing his favorite thing... fishing!
He got one! Blondie looks like she'd like to get her paws on it!
It's too little though, so he threw it back.
Here I am sunning myself.
Mmmm...time for watermelon!
Hayden at the stern of the boat enjoying his watermelon!
Mackenzie rowing the boat.
There's a fair amount of whitewater on this river, but nothing we can't handle!
Grayson decided to jump in for a little swim!
Now there goes Hayden.
They're heading for that beach over there.
I guess we'll all stop for our picnic lunch!
What a beautiful little spot this is!
Mackenzie and Brittany snuggling up by the river.
Eric and I.
Grayson, Hayden and Mackenzie.
Brave Brittany! She actually got in that freezing water!
Mackenzie and Brittany.
Brittany and her Dad.
Brittany and Mo enjoying the float.
Blondie, Eric, Me, Gryason and Hayden in our boat.
Blondie's enjoying life!
Well, we're already at the boat ramp. It was a shorter trip, but oh so beautiful!
Eric's pulling the boat out.
He always has to batten down things for the ride home.
Now Grayson's getting the other boat out.
Afterwards we went to a cute little pizzeria for dinner. We had such a great day. It was a great way to show Mo beautiful Oregon!
