This blog is simply the story about my little life
with my sweet family that the Lord has blessed me with
and the day in, day out things that we do.
It basically is my online diary/photo album of our life.
I'm glad you're here!

Special time with my Daddy...

The other day I met my Daddy at the doctor's office. His back has been bothering him, so I went with him to see the neurospine surgeon. My parents and my husband's parents are both getting older and sometimes it's nice to for them to have a "young" set of ears there to help listen to the specialist. I loved doing this for my Dad.
He taught me since I was a little girl that you can make anything fun if you get creative, and this time was no different, we planned that we would go get coffee and pie after the appointment.
My Daddy always use to take us kids out to restaurants after church and at different times when we were little. He is such a good natured, happy person. I am truly blessed by him. He has the kindest and most loving heart. I was so blessed with such a great Dad. It is hard for me to see his health declining, but I am so thankful that he is still here on Earth! He's 81 and his health has been fading. Can you please say a prayer for my Dad?
I just really love my Daddy!

"Listen to your father, who gave you life." Proverbs 23:22a

Love, Sharon

I know exactly how you feel about your daddy. Mine is 74 and just had a heart attack in the last three weeks and I now take care of him and see to his special diet needs and all. I am so happy to do this for him as he was always there when I needed him.

Enjoy your time with your daddy and I will keep him in prayer if you will keep mine also.

Beautiful Sharon, My Dad would have been 85 this past week, and I miss him soo. You are indeed blessed to have your parents with you, what a privilege for me to be praying for him.

Dear Sharon,
I will say a prayer for your Daddy! I had a wonderful, loving Daddy also! I think having a loving Dad shapes who we become as women. When we look for a husband we look for someone that loves and cherishes us like our Dads did. Take care.

Hugs,

Darlene
PS I think your Daddy is really enjoying that yummy pie!

Most people think the magic word is "please." But I know that the real magic word is "Daddy." Aren't they wonderful?!
