Welcome to my blog! I hope you enjoy reading about my busy life with my husband of 30 years and our four sons and daughter-in-law. We are now empty nesters and my blog is helping me through the journey. I love the Lord and I love my family. I also love to decorate and go to thrift stores!
Hayden met a girl! This is their first date together!
Her name is Haley. She is a sweet little Christian girl.
They actually met through their moms.....
....yep, her mother, Wanda, and I are good friends and we go way back to 1973 when we met in the 7th grade!
The kids started out as friends on Facebook and then a little romance started to happen. This is a first relationship for both of them. They are both so innocent and cute. She came to several of his football games and he went to the gym to watch her work out as a stunt cheerleader.
They decided to go to homecoming with each other, so we all went shopping for clothes.
Before shopping, Hayden and I went to church with them and then we all went out to lunch together.
We were looking for shirt and tie that would match Haley's beautiful pearl gray dress.
We found the perfect one! She was very careful to only show a little sample of her dress because she didn't want Hayden to see it, she wanted to surprise him the night of the dance.
Hayden had to get measured for his dress shirt.
Aren't' they cute!
After shopping we headed out to the pumpkin patch to get fresh apples and pick some pumpkins. Here they are walking out to the apple orchard. She was cold, so Hayden let her wear his coat. :0)
They are so cute together.
They're both so shy, so it's a little awkward for them.
They managed to have a fun day though!
They make a darling couple, but they are just in the beginning stages right now.
They're taking it slow.
Hay~Hay, so cute!
